Some experts for 5th class recently came to our classroom to teach us about scratch as part of Discover Science. We really enjoyed learning how to do some programming on the ipads!

To earn the school’s next Discover Science award, our class made bird feeders as part of the ‘taking care of our environment’ section. We had so much fun making them and hanging them on trees around the school.
On February 14th, Valentine’s Day, Junior Infants got the chance to surprise their Mummies and Daddies with some yummy chocolates! 6th class took part in ‘I’m an Engineer get me out of here’ in the production zone. They were able to ask questions and live chat with 6 engineers who took part in the event. They voted for their favourite engineer and Diane won in the end. She got €500 to invest in a project […]
We made weather machines with Mobilo, spring pictures with playdough and lots of words! We made rainbows in art. Also we set up a news and weather station. We used microphones and even had a camera!
Junior Infants welcomed their grandparents into their classroom during Catholic Schools week. We sang songs for them and showed them our photo wall. Our favourite part of the day was introducing our grandparents to our friends and showing them what we do in school.
